I have to give major props to this Zaxby’s location. I’m usually not big on fast food unless it really stands out, and this one definitely did. From the moment my wife and I walked in, the staff was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Our food came out to the table in under 3 minutes — hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Very average chicken by itself.
The French fries were lumpy. Crinkle cut fries are terrible if they are not cooked crisp and hot. Surely Zaxby’s knows this! Stop cutting the frying time short and deliver to us crispy fries. The fingers were warmed over, not fresh. Not very appetizing. The bread was cold. Cole slaw was fine. This was my meal. How much would you pay for that? I added 1 extra sauce for a total of 2, and it cost me $12.12. Really? Twelve dollars for this?! Shame on you!
