If you're a fan of Zaxby's, you might want to skip this location. I've given it several tries because it's convenient, but it consistently falls short. Prices are noticeably higher than other nearby Zaxby’s—like the one in Lenoir—and the food quality just doesn’t measure up. My most recent order was a platter that came with a tiny spoonful of coleslaw that tasted off, like it was the last of a batch that should have been tossed. The chicken tenders didn’t seem fully cooked either. For the price, I expected better.
I go to zaxby's when I travel if I can find one. This one stands out because it surprised me. Even with limited staff service was fast and friendly. Food was good and restaurant was clean.
Brannon was amazing , visited the place twice and ask him for recommendations around the area. He was very nice and very resourceful. Also, there was another girl. I forgot her name thank you both.. food was also very fresh and delicious
