Take to long for an order
My family normally visits the Zaxby's in Winter Haven without having any negative experiences, but on 09/21/2025 we stopped at the Haines City location on our way home. Worst decision; I'll never patronize that location again. After placing our order, I asked for all flat lemon pepper wings. Upon returning home, I realized they didn't give me any flats; they were fried hard and tasted salty. No lemon, no pepper, only rock-hard salt. Our dinner was ruined. 1stvits a fast food place, so atmosphere is really not an option. Service was outstanding for a fast food establishment. Now the food...its fried chicken strips offered in a variety of ways, I must say they get creative. However execution...well not so much. Wife and I ordered salads.
