One of the best sit down places in Moab. I had spinach ravioli. It arrived hot and was very flavorful. Others in same party had the all you can eat pizza. It was dinner and busy, had to be quick to get a pizza refill but the types of pizza offered weren't just plain toppings.
Luckly, they were open late as we came off the Mesa after sunset. Great salad and pizza bar. Friendly service. Excellent drink selection.
Sad that I have to write this because I thought the food and service was great....but if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions you'll want to avoid this place. Made a point to tell our waiter that my mom was allergic to avocado, and while her burger had the avocado removed (from what we saw) she had a bad reaction soon after. Some vacation, but if you're not allergic to anything you should be fine!
Our favorite place in Moab... Love the people, the atmosphere & the food!!... We come here 9 months out of the year from Northwest Colorado... Love it!!!
The sweet potato fries were outstanding! The Zax burger was loaded with bacon, avocado, and green chiles. Perfect flavor combo.
We have been to Zax two nights in a row because the food and service was so great the first time. They did not fail us - excellent dining experience again!! Highly recommended!
I had high hopes since the server at the Moab Brewery recommend it. But when we asked if they had any of the draft beers in a can or bottle, our server lectured us about how Utah is an LDS state and people don't come to Moab to drink beer! Wow, looking around I who'd disagree with her. She was also kinda rude to one of my friends when she wanted to make a special request off the menu. I won't go back.... no need for a server to be rude like that.

Lots of choices on the menu. Didn't get pizza, but it sure looked good. Both food and service were good. Bar has great options. Family friendly. Worth a visit.
