Unmatched quality! Zavotski's cannot be beat for quality and flavor. I have yet to be disappointed with meat I have purchased there. I pulled steaks out of the freezer after several months thinking the taste would be "off" and even those tasted great. I love their chicken burgers and brats - made right there in their shop. Homemade corned beef hash - out of this world. their meat is beyond anything a big grocery store can offer.
The meat was over priced. My wife and I went there to purchase corned beef, and they didn't have it. No problem! We purchased other meat instead. We also bought stuffed cabbage there- frozen, and supposedly made by the Zavotski's. Wow, were these disappointing! They were over seasoned with I-don't-know-what!!! I could barely eat mine. The cabbage they used was a really dark green - not tender at all - even after an hour of cooking. The staff is extremely helpful, informative, and willing to please. We recently had a large order of kielbasa ordered for a funeral gathering. They put together 35 lbs. of kielbasa, pre-cooked it, with meatballs , sweet and sour kraut ( that is out of this world with flavor) beef and cheese plate with crackers . Hands down the best meat market I have ever been to. Everything from quality to the friendly staff and pricing... this market has it all. When it comes to deer processing, lets just say its the best deer keilbasa you have ever tasted.
