Zavala floors Contractors, after we signed the contract and decided to do the work, they brought the wood floor materials and they sat in our kitchen for five days for acclimation purposes. Then they installed the wood in the kitchen. They did a wonderful job on the installation and they sanded the rest of the old floor, they applied stain and three coats of polyurethane. We are very glad we had them do the floor project for us and would be happy to hire them again. Thank you for the wonderful job.
Tried to refinish standard oak floors with a dark walnut stain and had a terrible outcome. They used small hand sanders causing ripples in the wood and then applied a poor quality finish with no proper topcoat sealer. Resulting in the surface easily prone to scratches and even the finish flaking off after a couple weeks. Very unprofessional and terrible quality.
