In Oct-Nov I rented a storage unit from public storage with the intention of it being held for a month. In December I left for vacation. I had a $400 fresh account with Fingerhut, after realizing the amount of interest they were charging me (I didn’t know about credit at the time), I decided to close the account. I called the customer service phone number and requested the representative to close the account. Monday, January 8, 2024, I decided to check my credit report and noticed it has been open since 2020.
