My experience here was a bit slow. The aesthetics and atmosphere of the restaurant is definitely there as well as music. However, coming in on a Tuesday, the restaurant was nearly empty and the service was extremely slow. My waiter was attentive & did a great job! My only complaint is the amount of time it took to get drinks, hookah & food especially because of it being a low volume of guest. This place definitely has potential for growth, but waiting excessively long for simple things like drinks and hookah is unacceptable.
Tens across the board . Our server was Princess .. AMAZING personable service ! The cocktails were amazing. I had the Island Blossom . The oxtail empanadas were phenomenal. The homemade sauce was delicious. We all shared our entrees . I had the oxtails accompanied by the Mac and brussel sprouts. They were perfect not too fatty. The brussel sprouts were so crispy and delicious . My friends had the lamb accompanied by the garlic mash. They were tender and the lamb didn’t taste too gamey ! I came in here during the brunch time on Saturday it was a time Princess and Jade gave me incredible service. I got hooked at the bar with the lalo tequila and oxtail empanadas as well as the crab and spinach dip let’s not forget the calypso shrimp . I got the sauce on the side so I can dip as I please and every bite I kept thinking about when is the next time I will be returning. I enjoyed every bit of Zanzibar and I will be back . I forgot to take pictures but here are pictures of the lalo
