The menu change has definitely made my experience worse. The food is still fresh, but not as enjoyable. I liked the old menu way better. I don't like that they got rid of "dos capas" meal and the taco shells for what you could build your order in. Also, I wish they'd put the new menu on the official website. The store itself is still clean and quiet. It's gone up in price a bit. It's closer to $26 dollars for 2 people's orders. I do still appreciate the partnership with Plate 4 Plate. Love the food but the portions get smaller and smaller each time I go. The menu board shows these giant beautiful bowls and I just paid $12 for a not even half full bowl.
Was offered a free bowl or burrito for being a nearby employee. Once we got there the first person I was with made her own and got it for free, I was next, was told I had to order a premade bowl because they were training people and they had to learn how to make them. Only way to get it for free. Okay then, I picked one out, as he’s building the bowl not once asked if I wanted everything that came on it or not. Zambrero used to be good before the menu change, now they absolutley skimp on the portion sizes and charge a premium for everything, after 4 toppings its $.50 extra, the avacado is $3.50. the scoop of rice i got was barely covering the bottom of the bowl, it was more like a beef and cheese bowl, for 2 bowls, 1 with double meat it was $23.11. you cant skimp on portion sizes and charge extra for more toppings when the competition will give you as much as you want. weeks ago i wouldve said its a great place to get a bowl but no... read more
