I was asked if I wanted the lifetime warranty on my band, I told the salesperson that I work at an auto shop, I asked her if the warranty would cover if my band broke or I lost it, she told me that it would. It's only been about a year, year and a half, lost my band at work(I work on 20 plus cars a day), my wife went to get the replacement and they told her the warranty will not cover if the band is lost.
