Drive-thru speaker broken. Fountain machine broken. Out of stock menu items. No egg on my sausage, egg and cheese sandwich. Burnt waffles. Grilled cheese sandwich made with non-melted shredded cheese and was not grilled. Omelette drowned in runoff mushroom juice. Falafel was burnt. On the plus side, the Philly cheesesteak was good. Fries were good. Waitress was sweet. I wish I was making this up. Overall bad experience.
I have been going to Zaki on the river since the place was open a couple of years ago. Their portions are HUGE and price is right. The owner is very friendly and always smiling. Best to order before you go as it takes them a while to bring the food out as everything is freshly prepared and they got a huge menu. Their skillet, meatloaf, gyros and turkey subs are great. Highly recommended if you could wait for your order and don't need to use the restrooms (they are located outside the restaurant...)
The best gyros in Tampa!! Other places simply don't match the quality and rip you off!!
