Ronkonkoma Office I have 3 children and all of them have gone to Island Orthodontics. A neighbor recommended them and I have yet to be disappointed. Walking in is a pleasure. All the receptionists are friendly and helpful. The kids sign themselves in on the computer ( they love that ) and I've never waited more than 6 minutes! (and 6 minutes is pushing it! - it's usually on a few minutes!) They have a great payment plan if insurance doesn't cover orthodontics .. reasonable and fair! A few years ago, It was time for me to get braces. I really didn't want to do it but when I went to Dr. Zak (DDS) he made it easy for me to get through it without any pain or anything. He did a great job through the whole process, from expander to braces to retainer. At every appointment he would make sure that I was all caught up to date and ready for the next stage.
