As a new patient, I visited Zak Dental for the first time yesterday. State-of-the art technology, combined with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff (Dr. Olson, Silvia, and Angel, in particular) made me confident that I have chosen the right dental office.
Had the pleasure of visiting zak dental San Diego today! I LOVE THIS OFFICE! Patients looked comfortable office is spotless and beautifully maintained. Got to meet Dr Olsen... very friendly! . Entire team was welcoming! Love the office decor and best of all, they have Brenton Wood playing my jams!! Love the vibes here.... I'll be back!

I went to Zak Dental in Simi Valley for a routine exam and was told I needed an inlay/onlay. I was asked to pay $350 upfront while the office would supposedly submit the rest to Denti-Cal for preauthorization. When I asked if it was covered, Dr. Zak said he didn’t know because he doesn’t handle billing and deferred to the benefits coordinator. On Friday, October 17, 2025; I went for cleaning. Lucia did a good job. I was a little disappointed that my dental plan took away some of the services like Irriga, laser treatment and Silver Diamite Fluorude but I got good cleaning done. Lucia also gave me good advice on treatment for periodontal treatment.
