Kind and informed, a good Dr.
My experience with Dr. Diken at Kadlec during a high-risk pregnancy was extremely distressing. During a cervical exam, he did not explain the procedure or ask for consent, and when I began crying from the pain and asked him to stop, he continued. As a sexual assault survivor, the lack of communication and consent made the experience especially traumatic. One of the best Drs ever. He always had my health and safty first thing. He had a very good bedside manner. He even showed up to the hospital the morning I had my c section, check in. He always took every concern in my treatment I needed.. I was grateful for him. Me and my son made it to 37 weeks and I had many pregnancy complications. If I ever had another I would be at his office first.
