Dr. Zahir has been my primary care provider for more than 20 years. He takes the time to explain everything, even the stupid questions I come up with. He's current in new technologies, treatments and medications. I have a condition that I have blood clots. been DR for more than 30 years and is ALWAYS excellent
Dr. Zahir is a good doctor, however, his staff is incompetent in many ways. It's too bad because I liked him.
Southwest health care is poorly run and supervised the billing department and the medical assistant ( Laurie) is lazy and incompetent or just a liar be careful when doing blood work because she is incapable of coding the procedure correctly which will ultimately cost you out of pocket for the cost of the draw because they would not correct their error and not take your calls steer clear of Southwest healthcare
We are new to this area and have seen Dr Zahir twice. We have found him to be knowledgeable, helpful and patient. The only negative comment that we’d have is that his office doesn’t offer electronic access to medical records, appointments or medication refills. This has made sharing of information between providers very difficult.
Dr. Zaharia has been our doctor for 15 years. We can always rely on him to be up to date on treatment and is an excellent diagnostician. The times he has referred us to other specialist, they confirmed his reasons for referral. His office staff are efficient and friendly as is he.
I have been a patient of Dr. Zahir for more than 7 years. He listens and takes time to explain the situation. His recommendations for specialists have been spot on. Most important, the 2 times that I have been hospitalized he has seen me in the hospital within 90 minutes of the time I was admitted. He and Michael, the practitioner in his office, gave me great care in the hospital.

ANA (M.A) Answered the phone with " What!!" and when I asked for her name she placed me on hold for 23 mins. Then came back & I asked for office manager ANA transferred me to another M.A. LAURIE who SCREAMED & WENT PSYCHO on me when I complained about ANA rudeness a being on hold for 23 mins without saying what I needed. I then spoke to SALLY (OFFICE MANAGER), unprofessional, talking over me and rude. After she gave me attitude about my complaint I then explained what I needed. HORRIBLE STAFF
