Max and Elisa are simply amazing! They have catered both to my husband and I and our hotel with 5 star elegant, delicious and refined cuisine and have always gone out of their way to be so responsive, professional and simply wonderful. I highly recommend them for your day to day private chef needs, weddings and events as there is simply nothing close to their level of expertise, divine food and service.
First and foremost: Thank you Zafferano Catering! You realized a dream! It’s difficult to find specific Italian cakes in US because they are not well known and hard to make but Zafferano made my request possible and exceeded my expectations. This place has the most delicious Italian food, hands down. I ordered their panettone last year and it was the best I've ever had. We ordered their pizza tonight and it was phenomenal. To add icing to the cake, the people who run it are so accommodating and professional. I don't have one negative thing to say about this business. What a treasure to have them in San Diego. They've definitely earned another loyal customer.
I first tasted their delicious food at Gianni Buonomo Vintners in Ocean Beach for one of their releases. Max's team prepared courses to match the wines. But now in this crazy time Zafferano's has pivoted to - take away and delivery items. I ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana, it was delicious! Bonus cookies were tasty. Easy to order on-line and schedule your pick up time.
Zafferano Catering and Chef Max Farina are just the best! We at San Diego Italian Film Festival partnered together for 2 events and they were a blast! Everybody loved their amazing food and excellent service. Recently we organized together another event with University of San Diego and also that night was extremely successful.
