Dr. Zackler actually cares. He listens and has helped in so many ways! To the person with the poor review, Dr. Zackler is a psychiatrist, not a psychologist who you would pay to listen to your life story though I’m sure he would. He has given me book suggestions for my disorder as well as medication that I have found very helpful. Very kind!
He is a typical ambivalent psychologist who will ask questions with too broad of a focus. After two sessions he merely scratched the surface to my problems in attempt to uncover useless, inappropriate information. He even admitted afterwards he is "struggling" to timeline. My advice to him is rather than playing an asinine role having your patients jump through inefficient hoops asking them unnecessary, personal questions; try listening to topics worth pursuing a forensic analysis. Quack. Believes that all persons with physical injuries are faking pain because their doctor tells the the diagnosis and the patient then psycologically wallows. Pitiful excuse for a psychiatrist.
Dr. Zackler's staff have an absolutely impeccable work ethic that combines their field-skills with compassion and the utmost of care for their clients. Don't take my word for it-- let your own unique experience at Dr. Zackler's office be the decision-maker for you. There are too few Doctors with who run their practices with the diligence, care, and compassion that Dr. Zackler and his staff embody in their work every day.
