This person is at MD Anderson, which is supposed to be a top notch cancer center. He has no compassion at all. My sister asked for a cold cap prior to chemotherapy to try and prevent hair loss (you would think this would be gold standard for a cancer center). He refused to order it because he said it was “lose dose chemo” so she would not lose her hair. Chemo is poison to the scalp at any dose! Well guess what, Dr-With-No-Compassion, she’s losing her hair after two doses. She asked you and you coldly refused. What is wrong w... read more
I hate leaving negative reviews but this warrants one. I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a year ago - Dr Yeung was appointed to me when I called banner to schedule an appointment- At that first appointment I had 6 family members with me, Dr told me I had one year to live then lied and said he never said that. How did 7 of us hear that then? Last time we saw Dr he was 45 minutes late, never apologized and spent the next 20 minutes with his eyes closed screaming at my husband and I. He has very very poor chair side manner... read more
Hopefully you never need this guy, but if you need a neuroendocrine tumor specialist he knows his stuff. I think he sees other GI cancers as well. He’ll take as long as you need to get your questions and concerns addressed and his understanding and explanation of my condition helped me understand why I was initially misdiagnosed (no hard feelings the original surgeon really did try to help me and the local pathologist even consulted with Mayo. Never on time for his appointments. We walked out after 45 minutes of waiting without anyone letting us know why it was taking so long. It was a 9am appointment which is early in the day. We never received a call asking where we went. My husband was his patient for over a year. There has been no phone call asking how we are doing. This appointment was on February 14th, it is now July 2nd. Obviously Dr. Yeung does not really care about his patients!
