Dr. Hurwitz and his team are amazing! I had a breast reduction done in December 2025. I had a consultation with a different surgeon at OU Health. The claim from that surgeon was denied by my insurance and it also took his office months to submit the claim and respond. I wanted to get a second opinion and that’s when I went to Dr. Hurwitz. This Doc Thinks im lying about my hand pain after just doing and EMG test and a simple xray, why would i want to waste my time to fix the issue if it my hands was not causing me pain, Doctor was extremely unpleasent and Passive aggressive, he has not help for me nor provided any help. Even on my first appointment with him he gave off a bad feeling with his passive aggresive attitude. I will look for out of network doctors instead. Reading his reviews I realized his behaviour is an ongoing issue.
Dr. Hurwitz and his team at Mercy were wonderful! I’m very pleased with the outcome of my surgery. Dr. Hurwitz has a good bedside manner. The wait times in his office were appropriate, and all nurses & front desk staff were always friendly! I would recommend him to anyone with plastic surgery needs!
