Never in my 54 years have I felt more disrespected/belittled/talked down to by a Doctor! The look of disgust on his face carried over directly into his conversation throughout the consultation. I have never felt need to leave a poor review for anything...ever. This just couldn't be left unsaid. I only wish there was a recording of our interaction. Unacceptable is an understatement! Everyone has a bad day...this was not that...this was years of perfected arrogance! I wish everyone a better experience!
In Dec. Of last year I trusted my back and health with Dr. Gordon. He informed me of what needed to be done to fix my problem. I trusted that was the procedure that he was going to do before the sedation. However when I wokeup he informed me or rather my wife i wasn't coherent that he decided not to go ahead with my fusion because my weight would ultimately cause the procedure to fail. Dr. Gordon is a miracle worker! I couldn't walk and was about to think about going to a wheelchair. I said no I'm too young! He had done surgery on me 2 yrs prior to fuse 2 through 4 and remove a cyst pressing on my spine. It got rid of the pain and numbness but I couldn't stand up straight because L1 wanted to go back to the old position.
