The food was tasty but the prices were so high it made it difficult to enjoy the meal. Having eaten comparable food in Mexico for a fraction of the price detracted somewhat from the experience.
I really was excited about this place lots good reviews and accolades, but really didn't hit. The place is cute, service and drinks were great, also a good and reasonably priced wine list. However the food was a let down. Our apps were okay, my wife's duck was good, I got the chile relleno which was okay, no cheese to be noticed and stuffed with vegetables which I found weird. We had a wonderful dining experience at Zacatlan previously and were happy to discover that they were open for lunch during the Indian Market. Another great experience where the menu choices were creative and the experience was spot on. The food, service and ambiance were outstanding, and the location so convenient will see us returning again and again.
This is a special restaurant in Sante Fe. Outstanding Oacaxa food. Every dish was special. I highly recommend it.
