I can only speak from my personal experience (back in 2020); Dr. Westfield made the executive decision (based upon data) to get me admitted into the hospital for an emergency Csection because of suspected nuchal cord. The on call surgeon that evening was Dr. Kristin Schmidt. She performed the cesarean section and my daughter did indeed have nuchal cord (4x in fact—which I only learned post op).
