What a Delight ! – I have never ever written a review of a restaurant in my life, but, I have to share this experience with others right here. I went to this Indian restaurant last night for the first time, and I am often quite critical and also very particular about food, quality, hygiene, service and most importantly taste. Most surprisingly, and refreshingly (for an indian restaurant), they are doing it all quite well. We ordered the leg of lamb, lamb biryani, kakori kabab, shrimp angarey, it was just yum, the meat was so... read more

Great Indian Food – I went to Yuva for dinner and it was a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was very attentive. Each time the waiters brought anything over to my table, they would take the time to explain it to us. If we had any questions, they were happy to answer them. They even offered some suggestions to us on what to order. During dinner, the head chef had the waiter bring us over some complimentary bread which was very sweet and delicious. Our table was in the back in front of the oven w... read more

Forget the hype, this is the real deal – I've eaten at various Indian restaurants in NYC and I have to say, Yuva is the hands-down winner. I have no idea what benchmark is used to judge restaurants, but I get the feeling most of the "best of citysearch" restaurants are surviving on pure reputation. I've been over for the buffet lunch as well as the ala carte dinner and I must say I was blown away on both occasions. The chicken tikka masala was the best I've ever had. Having said that, this is not the kind of place that survi... read more

Tasty & elegant – We dined at yuva for the seventh, if not eighth time in last five months, and I have to say that, we just love the food here, we always feel so welcomed at this place, the food is fantastic and authentic which is what has possesd me to write this review. I really have nothing to complain, they are good, the service is superfriendly, they take personal care of us each time. My favourite dish here is the kachori, afghani kabab and the lamb chops. I love their breads & goat biryani too. They play awesome music... read more

Just mentioning Great food is an understatement!! – I wish the rating mechanism allowed to rate this place not in numbers alone, as 10 out of possible 10 won't do any justice to the food and hospitality of this place. Last night was the third time I went to Yuva with a friend, which was to prove her wrong that there are no good authentic North Indian eating places in NY. And as on previous occasions, I made my point. We were seated promptly and one of the head servers "Harpreet" is very friendly and knowledgable staff member... read more

Tiny Place, Medecore food, EXPENSIVE !! – This place has alot of work to do in order to truly earn its "so called" reputation. Waiters forget drinks completely, food portions are tiny, two people have trouble sharing one entree. That is a problem since we paid about 20 $$$ for one dish, and had to order 5 dishes to get a decent taste. This place has good potential, but needs a significant amount of work before we can justify spending that much money on indian food you can get everywhere else.
