The food here is very delicious, the service is very friendly and pleasant.
This used to be my go-to Japanese restaurant, but it’s really gone downhill since the new owners took over. The sushi rice was cooked poorly. Most of the fish didn’t taste fresh. The salmon was soft and mushy, and the uni was borderline inedible, super fishy and clearly not fresh. I ordered the $45 nigiri/sashimi “omakase” course, and it was easily the worst I’ve had in that price range. I’ve had far better nigiri courses at other places for less money.
