I had a total knee replacement procedure with Dr Shahan Yacoubian just under 6 months ago. I'm an active 65 year old and had severe knee pain due to previous knee surgeries performed in my youth.I'm very pleased with the outcome of the surgery and with Dr Yacoubian in particular. The office is over booked and crowded , not enough staff to take care of the patients needs, long waiting time for all services , from referral to answering the phone, I am sorry that I waisted my time and money to go to this office.
Dr. Shahan Yacoubian performed a total knee replacement revision surgery on me a little over a year ago to correct a surgery that did not go well. I could go on about what I like about Dr. Yacoubian, but my wife said it best. She said 'If you would have had Dr. Yacoubian do the replacement surgery in the first place, you would not have needed him to do the second'. With that being said, when it comes time to do the other knee, I certainly will ask Dr. Yacoubian to perform the surgery!
Despite an 8:45 AM appt, after waiting more than 1 hr I was told I was next. The room walls are so thin that I overheard the patient in next room complaining to Dr. Yuri because she had waited for more than an 1 hr too. Her appt was also at 8:45, so by default he was planning to be late for at least one of his patients. Since she had complained first, he saw her first. Dr. Shahan V. Yacoubian did my left hip replacement surgery in September 2022 and my right hip replacemnt in January of 2023. I feel like a new man now. I was in so much pain that I could barely walk around my house. I was afraid of having to be in a wheelchair. Two weeks ago, Dr. Shahan Yacoubian performed my second hip-joint replacement surgery (specifically, using the anterior approach) and my recovery was even swifter than the first surgery he performed five years ago. Dr. Yacoubian's general professionalism, bedside manner and expert technique were faultless and I'm grateful to him and his crack team for coming through bigtime and giving these hip-joints a vital second chance.
I’m so pleased and excited as I will be under the care of this professional . He explained my pinched nerve condition in detail and suggested that I have steroid epidural injections for sever pain relief. At last I feel I’ve found a doctor who in accomplished and has a sincere interest in his patients medical needs.
I just listened to a voice recording I had made of a consultation with Dr. Falkinstein three years ago. I had been referred to him to determine if my pain was coming from my right hip or my twice-operated upon spine. This audio record of his intelligence, patience, expertise and resourcefulness reminded me that this was one of the very best health professional interactions of my 74 years! (It was my hip!)
Dr. Falkinstein is the most caring orthopedic doctor, I’ve seen. He is knowledgeable, and took his time with me, during my appointment I highly recommend him.
