Quick service, everything was amazing
I recently visited Yummy Kitchen on FM 1960 and left with mixed feelings. The food had some real highlights, but the front-of-house experience could use improvement. When I arrived, there wasn't anyone at the front to greet customers. Instead, two children, who appeared to be helping their family, were handling much of the dining room. They were polite, but communication was sometimes difficult, and I felt a bit rushed to place my order even though the restaurant wasn't busy. The service is terrible. The young waiter (Chin) got aggravated when asked to explain different entrees. He never returned to refresh drinks. I asked him his name. When I called him for napkins. He informed me not to call him by his name, then asked me if I could wait until he finished his duties. I spoke to the manager who is the young man's father.
