I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis by my doctor and was sent to Dr. Yuan for treatment. I limped into his office he asked a lot of questions and came up with a plan to get the pain and disease under control. Offered cortisone shots to get some immediate pain relief and did them on the same visit. Thank you so much, the following day I was pain free
Dr Yuen got me addicted to Oxycontin back in 2009 / 2010 and then cut me off without a plan to ween me off. This was the worst thing I have ever experienced in my life. I then requested another doctor who was able to help treat my rare arthritis and I have not required pain medication in 15 years.
Quick to dismiss level of suffering and rely on a fibromyalgia diagnosis (supposed to be a diagnosis of exclusion) without doing any imaging or further blood work. Did not listen to me as the patient and I left in tears. If you want someone to find out the cause of your systemic pain, when "your labs are normal", this is not your doctor. Edit: Imaging done by a second rhumatologist has lead to a psoriatic arthritis diagnosis and multiple mechanical issues.
