My experience with this doctor and his staff was negative. He always brushed off concerns. He also thought I was a new patient each visit despite going there for a while. He didn't perform a procedure correctly during my well woman exam one year and his office asked me to come back in. They charged my insurance and expected me to pay the copay. I struggled for a long time to come back and write this review, but I think it’s important as women to share our experiences with dismissal in medical situations so we can all avoid terrible healthcare providers. I came to Dr Fan for a single visit almost two years ago due to episodes of intense pain that landed me in the ER. do not come here if you have a history of sexual trauma. This was a very difficult experience. He mentioned to me in the beginning of the appointment that my concerns for potential endometriosis (I have frequent cramps) were more so because of “mental stress” and I shouldn’t worry. Went to see Dr Fan for an ultrasound. Very kind doctor. Office is organized and check in process is smooth. Was not too difficult to get an appointment either, which is great.

On Oct 14 2021, Dr. Fan abandoned my wife after taking on her emergency ovarian torsion case, which required surgery ASAP, thereby introducing an unnecessary additional several hours of languishing in extreme pain on the gurney as her ovary suffocated, which directly led to her loss of the ovary. He disappeared from the hospital on us without notice let alone explanation, leaving us without an ObGyn on site for hours thereafter.
