It’s taken me a few years to come leave a review for this doctor. In looking at other 1 star reviews it looks as though unfortunately things haven’t changed much. I first saw Dr. Fan when I had my IUD taken out by him in December of 2021. We spoke briefly about what was going to happen but he appeared to be rushing through my questions or concerns. I’ve been seeing Dr. Fan for a couple years and I’ve had very good experiences at his practice. The office staff are very nice and organized. My appointments are always quick and easy. Fair warning, he is very straightforward, quick, and blunt. Personally, I really like that as I only go to him for routine Pap smears and to switch out my IUD. If you have lots of new concerns or issues to figure out, his style may not suit you. But for no nonsense routine appointments, it doesn’t get any better.

I would give a 1 star review if I could, but sadly in this world that could be taken less seriously. Dr. Yan-Da Fan is an IRRESPONSIBLE/LAZY DOCTOR WHO THINKS PCOS IS ONLY A FERTILITY ISSUE! He told me multiple times on different visits that PCOS ONLY matters if I want to have a baby! He always does it so quick and rushes out in a moment. This doctor is clearly only a doctor for money at this point. He works with SO many vulnerable women that the fact he thinks women's health is tied to giving birth is utterly unacceptable. ... read more

My experience with this doctor and his staff was negative. He always brushed off concerns. He also thought I was a new patient each visit despite going there for a while. He didn't perform a procedure correctly during my well woman exam one year and his office asked me to come back in. They charged my insurance and expected me to pay the copay. Four years later and they still send me a bill for that copay but his staff has never once responded to my emails or calls to understand why they're billing me for his mistake. I've a... read more

I struggled for a long time to come back and write this review, but I think it’s important as women to share our experiences with dismissal in medical situations so we can all avoid terrible healthcare providers. I came to Dr Fan for a single visit almost two years ago due to episodes of intense pain that landed me in the ER.
