Dr. Ying performed a cochlear implant replacement surgery for our adult daughter. Our daughter's original implant was in 1995 and the internal device failed. We went to Dr. Ying for the removal of the non-functioning implant and insertion of a new cochlear implant. We were extremely pleased with Dr. Ying's pre-surgery evaluation of our daughter as there were complicating factors in our daughter's case. We were also extremely pleased with Dr. Ying's surgery and post surgical follow up.
Dr. Ying is a Excellent Doctor in her Field along with her staff.Dr.Ying is very Knowledgeable and Patient in answering any Questions..I"m on the road to recovery,and I'm Soo much better with my hearing for having seen Her..I would Refer Her to anyone in need of her Expertise.She is now my go to Doctor for any issues with ENT.
Doctor was an hour late, no courtesy phone call or notice. She could not confirm what the ear doc who referred me to her thought, what might be the issue and suggested an ear specialist (in BOSTON!!!). She recommended non-FDA approved nose drops. After her inability to do anything else, she recommended I see an allergist and a sinus specialist. NONE of this was mentioned in her summary of my office visit. If I could give a minus rating I would - even one star is too good for her.
This doctor is HORRIBLE. I walked in with pulsating in my one ear…. Like a heartbeat. Told her my symptoms and she told me ok we need a hearing test. I said can I get an mri or imaging, because I am a little worried about it being that I have done tramendous amount of research. She told me “no insurance won’t even cover that without a hearing test” - so that’s what this is about? It really is truly sad that in todays world you will be dead by the time you get a test done! Dr. Mary Ying I would like to express my gratitude for your kindness and support throughout the years. You have truly made a difference in my life. I’ve been seeing Dr. Ying for nearly 6 years. She has advised and guided me by always listening to my concerns. I had an Acoustic Neuroma Tumor surgically removed on April 15, 2024 by Dr. Ying and her colleague Dr. Liu. I am doing really well!
