YOUR TIME IS NOT IMPORTANT !!! I show up for a 1:30 p.m. appointment with Dr. Mary Yu-Lan to be told that the doctor was running an hour behind schedule - information that was not communicated to me beforehand. A simple phone call or text message ahead of time to plan accordingly, since I do have a job, would have been a real considerate thing to do ! I was referred to see Dr Ying, At my first appointment she began with a review of my medical history. She then commenced with the examination which determined that the treatment I was there for was not needed. Dr. Ying then explained the results of her findings and why they warranted no further action at this point in time. Beyond the verbal explanation the doctor followed with a live video of my ears explaining the situation. My sister-in-law struggled with hearing loss for over 30 years and relied on hearing aids, which were very expensive and often needed replacement every few years. In 2024, after a severe cold, she completely lost the remaining hearing she had. It was a very emotional time for our family. In November 2025, Dr. Ying performed her cochlear implant surgery, and the surgery went very well. Dr. Ying performed a cochlear implant replacement surgery for our adult daughter. Our daughter's original implant was in 1995 and the internal device failed. We went to Dr. Ying for the removal of the non-functioning implant and insertion of a new cochlear implant. We were extremely pleased with Dr. Ying's pre-surgery evaluation of our daughter as there were complicating factors in our daughter's case. We were also extremely pleased with Dr. Ying's surgery and post surgical follow up.
Dr. Ying is a Excellent Doctor in her Field along with her staff.Dr.Ying is very Knowledgeable and Patient in answering any Questions..I"m on the road to recovery,and I'm Soo much better with my hearing for having seen Her..I would Refer Her to anyone in need of her Expertise.She is now my go to Doctor for any issues with ENT.
