In 2019,I searched high and low for the best surgeon from NC, SC & GA. I found Dr. Yu and he didn't disappoint he thoroughly explained the process for my daughter's cleft palate repair, recovery. Was he all butterflies and rainbows no but I rather have someone that can perform his expertise more than being warm and fuzzy. Dr Yu is amazing. He preformed my son’s bone graft, Lefort jaw surgery, lip revision and nose revision. Dr Yu was professional, thorough, listened to our concerns, worked as a team with my son’s orthodontist, and gave realistic expectations of outcome and recovery. We are extremely satisfied with my sons experience with Dr Yu and the whole nursing staff.

Dr. Yu performed my daughter's cleft lip repair in 2018. He really broke it down to me the long road ahead and what to expect. My daughter was blessed to get one of the top cleft palate surgeon's in the country. He repaired her lip and you can't even tell she had a cleft lip. His work is phenomenal. I recommend Dr. Yu to anyone. He's very hands on and very knowledgeable in his field. Anyone would be lucky to have him as their surgeon.

Terrible doctor, we had an appointment for my daughter with this doctor but his lack of patience and professionalism got annoying because it took us more than 15 minutes with him and he told us that he only had 15 minutes for us and that it had already taken more than that time. and that it would be better for us to go see another doctor. The truth is, we never felt like that with a doctor with that bad mood.
