Staff quality is shoddy, part time staff are especially clueless and permanent staff have gotten comfortable picking on kids. One staff member started hitting on the kids there too and got off with a slap on the wrist, at most transferring to a different location. It felt like being a kindergartener with a group of aged college dropouts, a select few were awesome, but the rest were weird and obviously novice to the field or stunted in their knowledge of mental health. Youthdale is a wonderful place people are great here, no trauma!! Never even went in a padded room lol Which low-key was a disappointment jk lol but the reviews on here are not giving this place A good reputation so I’m gonna change that! I lived in Youthdale for 4yrs from 8 to 12. They put meme in a strate jacket and padded room for 2 weeks strate.
