He was the best pediatrician my kids had. My 17 yr old said she wanted to get socks one more time just so she could go in and see him. Love the office staff never was rude or condescending.
Dr. Barnes retiring is sad for parents/patients but he absolutely deserves to enjoy the fruits of his labor. We had so hoped Dr. Barnes would see our son to his 18th birthday as we were so blessed with his expertise and wisdom. I would also like to acknowledge his staff who worked in a busy and loud environment with sick children and worried parents that I am sure, at times, tried their patience. Updated review. Not an isolated incident, waiting 30+ minutes every single visit is frustrating and shows lack of respect for patients and parents' time. It doesn't matter if this is the norm everywhere (not true at all), it's rude, unprofessional, and inconsiderate, especially when asked to show up on time. In my experience, this is due to scheduling multiple patients per time slot. Another time, the doctor left mid-appointment and never came back. The front desk lady has the worse personality of anyone I’ve ever met. I’ve brought my son here since he was born cause I heard nothing but great things about Dr. Barnes but due to the attitude the girl at the front desk has for no reason we won’t be back. She’s awful!
