Dr. Barnes is the best doctor we have seen in 42 years of raising our children. He is caring, considerate, spends the necessary time discussing the issues, asks lots of questions, and gives answers and explanations to our many questions. There has only been a couple of times that we weren't able to see him on the same day we called in all the years we have used him and for serious situations he is available after hours. The front office is incredibly rude EVERY time I’m in the office. The nurse is not pleasant in the least and the only answers I’ve vet received about my concerns were extremely vague with no real answers. They talk about other patients OPENLY and loudly. I’m positive that’s illegal (HIPPA violation). I’ve heard about several others health conditions, personal lives, medical expenses AND medical changes in prescription meds OF COMPLETE STRANGERS!!!! The doctors here are good. Dr Dixen and Dr Barnes do great. The reason for the three star rating is everything else. It's overcrowded. I couldn't get my sick son in because everything was full for the day. This has happened more than once. Also, there is one particular front desk lady that can be rude/moody.
