Your beautifully crafted donuts were a huge hit with my coworker friends today. I was talking up the fact that your company is locally owned and operated and that your ingredients are all locally sourced, but I am pretty sure the yum factor was the ultimate winner here.
Shhhhhh.... Don't tell my kids that I ate the donuts my husband brought home for them. Your mom is better than mine. Thank you for sourcing local and frying in lard. The BEST!!!!!
This place is the best! Owned and run by good people. You gotta try it.
Drove to Matthews from York, SC just to come here. :) It was worth every minute. We had the Blackberry Mint cream filled (WOW), the salted caramel (YUM), the strawberry Orange (mmmm!), and got a few more for later. The coconut we got was still warm. Heavenly. Make the trip. :)
I came back for a second chance (they gave me a free retry) with these donuts and they were a lot better than the first time I bought some. They weren't super oozy greasy and the ganache wasn't bitter like my first try. I like the different flavor mixtures they offer.
