We are so grateful to have had Dr. Maria from Downtown Doula support us through our birth and labour journey. I can’t speak more highly of the team at YDD. I had an uncomplicated pregnancy until the end and through delivery. I worked closely with Dr. Savard as my naturopath whose commitment and care was unparalleled. Once I passed my due date I was working with Dr. Ling to receive acupuncture in an effort to induce labour. As I was in labour, I worked with Shivangi in hospital who was a stand in for my delivery. I had Arlene the lactation consultant come over to my place to help me breast-feed my baby boy without a nipple shield and even though my baby was too fussy that we couldn’t get a full feed, she still gave me important insights and practical advices that I took seriously and after a few weeks I am now able to breast-feed naturally and I am so thankful. I had an amazing experience working with Dr. EeVon Ling! She is absolutely incredible! It was my third birth and I’ve never had a doula before, so thought I’d try it out this time and SO glad I did!
