The office staff refused to call my insurance to obtain a preauthorization for imaging. They said "we've never done that before". This is standard procedure yet they dug their heels in refusing to do it for over 5 weeks delaying my ability to get medical care. The imaging place tried contacting this doctor, in addition to my primary care doctor advising them on this standard procedure to no avail. Although the doctor was very kind, she supports her office staff blindly without even bothering to listen to the patient.
