Dr. Alkhatib is the best psychiatrist ever! He truly cares about me like a father and he really values my input. When everyone else gave up on me, Dr. A was there to help me!
We've been extremely pleased with our experience with Young Minds. Christopher H. is personable, thorough, and ensures the patient feels truly heard and valued. The consultation was unrushed and left us feeling confident about next steps. Kayla in medical records is highly responsive and provides excellent service. When we encountered issues with our pharmacy, the office promptly assisted with a same-day change. The patient portal has also been a convenient and effective way to communicate with the team.
This practice does not care about your time at all. The first time we visited, the PA Christopher H., was 20 minutes late. His excuse is that he likes to take his time with patients. When we scheduled a follow up, I requested to be the first patient so we wouldn't have to deal with his time management issues....well guess what he was still late to his first appointment of the day. Dr. Blocker is a TOP NOTCH medicine man. He has been a God-Send in attending to my daughter’s medical condition. He listens; he smiles; he provides comfort when there is sadness, he is encouraging , and so much more. I will never switch doctors. Dr. Blocker’s staff is also awesome in that their customer service is impeccable! Young Minds Psychiatry is stone in a million.
