Bought a 2025 Mazda CX-5. Big ripoff on trade-in. I had researched what our 2016 Mazda CX-5 was worth, even got online quotes from carvana and carmax of around $7600 to $7800. Also checked kelly bluebook values. When they looked at the car, they quoted $5000. Told them of the online offers and said It should be at least $7000. The financing guy, Tyler Chugg came back with a bunch of B.S. about tires are worn, doesn't have AWD, he had a call come in with a $5500 offer, so he could give that on the trade-in. Your mileage will vary based on who you get to help you. List price of a car was about $31000, but the out the door price was over $36000. Unwilling to negotiate and give you quite an attitude when you make an offer 10% below their price. Clearly if you are tacking on $3000 of extra fees beyond taxes, there is negotiating room. My experience with Ashton and the rest of the team at Young Mazda was excellent! I was treated respectfully and honestly! They got me out of a worthless car and into a very nice one quickly!!
We had a 12 hour drive to accomplish on a Saturday. As we were near Ogden our oil pressure warning light came on. We were able to get to Young Mazda and Stephanie helped us in their service department. They put us at the front of the line and quickly determined and corrected our problem. We paid less than we had paid at JiffyLube for an oil and filter change and the diffrence was that Young's were PROFESSIONALS!
