Great people
First time on the GAP, pulled in around 5:30. Very friendly, and helpful. Nice hot showers and peaceful. Bring ear plugs though their are occasional trains all along the trail. The rest of the trip, places will have to step it up to match this place.

A great kayak & canoe rental, with friendly and accommodating employees. Reasonable prices make it better than using your own canoe. They make a day on the river all about having relaxing & fun, because you don't have to worry about transporting your kayak or getting back to your car. The section of the Youghiogheny River that they use is relatively shallow & calm, which is great for beginners.
