RecommendedWe've had wonderful success with Eliot and our dogs both our personal dogs and a dog he helped us rescue who is now living his best life. I often make unscheduled visits to You Don't Know Sit both when our dogs were training there and just to drop by. I often recommend him.
My praise is two-fold. We adopted a 9 mo old puppy from this rescue. He's a perfect fit for us. When we met we were concerned about one of our older dogs, as she has exhibited dog aggression in the past. Eliot evaluated our dog and decided he could help her get over it. We left her with him and in less than 2 weeks my "aggressive" dog was walking around off leash with other large dogs she'd typically fight with. I was amazed. When the wonderful dog I adopted began to have trouble with the other dogs in my family, I reached out to the animal shelter for assistance. Eliot was recommended to me. Eliot is super smart; what sets him apart is that he can take a complex thought/behavioral understanding and simplify it for the end user (dog owner)! He is extremely friendly and willing to offer his insights for no charge. He cares about dogs and their humans, and wants them to have happy, fulfilled relationships. Elliot did a wonderful job with our fur babies he knows what he is doing. he brought my dad's dog and my dog together. and refreshed her training if you need someone to help you out with ur fur babies he is the man. we thank you so much.
Eliot helped us with our stubborn, fearful Carolina dog mix. Her dog anxiety was immediately cured, and he taught us how to manage her behavior in a positive, gentle way.
Eliot is working with our dog currently and we couldn't be happier with our dog's progress. Eliot has a gift with dogs and he has been so wonderful to work with as he re-trains our dog after a traumatic incident left her with some aggression issues!
LEFT DOGS IN HOT CAR. On September 27, I parked by the You Don't Know Sit van in the Chatham Marketplace lot. At least 3 dogs were left in the hot van. I touched the hood to see if the owners had left the engine running and the a/c on, but they had not. There were three large dogs that I could see---there may have been more in the vehicle---but all were hot and panting. Dogs intuitively connect to Eliot right away, and seem to realize they can trust him. He has worked wonders with my pack of three dogs who weren't alwaysenthusiastic about strange dogs coming into the home. Now it is the norm for them, and I can board my clients at my place and they all interact peacefully! He has changed my dog's mind set and it has made life so much easier.
