I’ve been going to mid Atlantic retina for over a year now for amd. I have always been very well taken care of and feel very comfortable. Dr. Yonekawa is fantastic and I highly recommend him. Also during the trying time of this covid 19 situation I have felt very safe going to my appointments.
I went to see Dr. Yonekawa, because I have a diagnosis of AgeRelated Macular Degeneration and I wanted to be evaluated by a good specialist. I was very impressed by his knowledge and great "bedside manner". Tomorrow I am going to see him again, since he wants me to be checked every six months. I already recommended Dr. Yonekawa to friend of mine, who has not been happy with her opthalmologist in New Jersey. She has a wet form of ARMD and after an injection done in NJ she went blind for weeks.
