I am finishing up my second year of living at Yorktown Commons. I highly recommend choosing this complex. The landscaping is top tier, the staff are on top of any maintenance issues and they respond immediately to needs with action. They notify you when packages arrive and will hold them for you if you're out of town. The owner takes genuine care of the complex himself and is readily available if concerns arise. SUBLEASING HERE IS PRACTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE Lived here for 2 years. Be very CAREFUL before signing a lease. Subleasing is technically allowed, but in reality, it is almost impossible. We informed Allison and Rich 6 months in advance that we might move out. They verbally promised to help, but did NOTHING, prioritizing renting other vacant units instead. One of the best places to live in Tuscaloosa. The complex is always clean, and the manager and staff are awesome and very friendly. I really enjoyed living there, especially the positive atmosphere and respectful neighbors. The management is careful about who they rent to, which helps keep the community safe and enjoyable.
