My dad moved in to Yorkshire Manor after having some surgery because he was no longer able to live alone in his apartment. We were both apprehensive, but it has been a great experience. He quite likes the staff, and they all seem very kind. He needs quite a bit of physical care, and in any observation I've had, the caregivers are all very gentle with him. They must spend time talking with him too, as he often tells me stories about their personal lives or vacations.
