Established in the year 1843 by Benjamin Fuller,York Tavern is believed to be one of the oldest taverns in the entire DuPage County. The tavern, along with a few other buildings in the local suburbs is all that is remaining of the historic old town of Fullersburg. They don’t serve coffee. Never been to a restaurant that didn’t serve coffee. Weird. Food tasted like the kind of food you buy frozen, in bulk, in bags. No flavor. Service was pleasant but didn’t bring requested condiments unless asked twice, did not check up on us during the meal.

$5.40 for ONE PINT of Summer Shandy!!!! An effing rip off. I will NOT be going back again. I used to frequent it back in the late 90's when it was a small neighbor hood establishment. OBVIOUSLY OWNERSHIP now, is worried more about lining their pockets then service and value!!!! I had to give ONE star because it wouldn't let me give ZERO. ONE STAR TOO MANY in my opinion.
Great pizza and atmosphere
Great place to watch a Hawks game, but some of the worst service I've ever experienced.
