This appraisal was part of a HELOC ordered by our bank (Delta Community Credit Union). We had an appraisal of our house done two weeks ago by Corey Dobbs. When we received the appraisal back we were pretty disappointed in the value of the home. Based on recent sales and the condition of home they missed the mark by a lot! I rarely leave reviews but after my experience with this company I couldn’t keep quiet. I called to inquire about utilizing their services for a sale and was instead met with a short temper and disconnected phone line after being told they do not work with realtors or private owners and that they only do business with and provide services for banks. Do not waste your time or energy.
I interact with this office weekly. They are a team committed to excellence and customer service. I always look forward to reaching out to them as they are courageous and quick.
The BEST place in the state to get an appraisal done. Especially down the shore. Fair pricing, over 30 years of expertise, and quick turn around time. What more can you ask for?
Save yourself the headache and choose someone else. They are horrible at appraisals. They used homes that sold over a year ago with less comps. Clearly there was a substantial jump in home prices in 2021/2022 that should’ve been taken into consideration. The market data hasn’t caught up with reality. Definitely wasn’t a fair appraisal. We appealed their decision then provided them with REAL data and they still would not change their decision. Very unusual and sketchy dealings.
