I just started renting from York properties and have had the best experience! Everyone was super friendly and very welcoming! The maintenance people are also super quick to fixing anything in your apartment. I definitely would recommend moving here as a first time renter!
I have been renting an apartment from York Properties for almost three years. The actual quality of the apartments is wonderful and, if any issue should arise, the maintenance folks, immediately address the issue. The office folks are also very friendly and incredibly helpful. I have previously rented from York, and they were excellent property managers. I got what was presented to me, and they are quick to respond to communications and resolve maintenance requests. Better yet, they're kind real people. I have not rented from them for over a year and half and still they responded to my recent request to provide rental verification for an application for a new lease at a property they don't manage.
