In order to better care for our patients at all York Hospital community locations, as of Monday, October 25, York Hospital in Wells will temporarily suspend emergency-level care. Wells Walk-In Care will continue to offer urgent care to all patients 7 days/week, and the hours of service, 8 a.m. – 7 p.m., will remain the same. If you are experiencing life-threatening symptoms (severe pain, difficulty breathing) please dial 911 or visit our Emergency Department located on our York campus.

ok I have been a patient here years I loved all But one Doctor who only met me twice my normal doctor is maternity leave I was in a mager car accident on May 1st when discharged from Maine Medical I was instructed to schedule a in person post hospital visit with my PCP They refused until my stitches got infected and then when expressing my frustration to Doctor Sarah Erickson (substitute PCP)she told me that it wasn't her Problem that she doesn't deal with scheduling my leg got infected because of a lack of follow up care be... read more
York Ergent Care in Wells has saved my husbands life several times, and many others. I heard that we have now lost our Wells Ergent Care. I hope this is not due to the loss of Judd as the head of York Hospital.
I was greeted by friendly staff and seen even before I finished filling out my paperwork!!...definitely a GREAT experience!!
