I have never encountered such a profoundly disappointing business. When I reached out to York to request a residential AC unit cover specifically designed for their product installed in my home, I was informed that they categorically do not sell directly to the public. While I can appreciate that some companies may restrict the sale of parts or new units to ensure proper installation, I believe strongly in the right to repair one’s own property.
