When I bought my Camry the dealership installed a remote starter for my car. This past February they had to fix my starter, did a reset and charged around $100. Now 7 months later same problem, want another $100 because there is no warranity on reset because no parts are involved. So if I get it done again today and 2 weeks problems arise, you want another $100.
Probably should cut cars off in a marked car…
0 stars if I could. The OEM camera and soft touch switch at my trunk stopped working with the camera being intermittent. In car switch and remote still pop the trunk. I replaced the soft switch and the camera myself 3 months ago. They are plug and play so I didn't screw it up. They "diagnose" the problem and say it's the switch and the camera. In the service manual they describe intermittent camera problem and to remove connectors at the module due to corrosion, lubricate with GM gel and reinstall. The module is easy to get ... read more
