This garage is top notch and very personable. Everyone I get my car worked on I know it's done right because of all of Tim's training and knowledge. Sharon is so nice up front too... I just love York automotive.
Can't rave enough about the service, and patience, of the folks at York Automotive. I had a series of really challenging problems with my heat, that in the dead of winter, made me pretty cranky. Tim is skilled and knowledgeable, takes a lot of pride in his work, and goes the extra mile to make sure you're happy. Sharon was really responsive to my calls and explained our options every step of the way. The folks at York Automotive are professional and friendly. Highly recommend!
In response to Sharon Miles' post. I didn't sue York Auto. I didn't need to because, their insurance company found them at fault, as well as a certified Toyota mechanic. Also, she physically threatened me via internet messaging and the police went to pay them a visit. By the way Sharon, it's spelled liar not lier. Also check out their other negative reviews on Yahoo.
I took my truck into York Automotive for a basic oil change in December. My truck was in perfect working order. When I picked up the truck, the owner, Tim said my oil pressure gauge needed a new sending unit and it that's why it wasn't reading oil pressure. (There was nothing wrong with the sending unit)Tim also stated it was perfectly fine to drive. I made it 13 miles up the Turnpike and the engine blew. I had it towed back to York Automotive.
